Talking to the passengers

I made my turn at Tenterden Town today. It was a easy day with only two trains. I’m glad I did as now the infection is under control I need to keep moving to help disperse the swelling.

Reasonably well loaded, 60% on the first train. About 40% on the second. Plenty of happy faces. I invited a visitor from the Severn Valley Railway into the box. She’s a signalman at Bridgnorth.

The duty engine was my favourite, 1638, a Pannier Tank. I’ve blipped it many times before, so this time I’ve put it into extras. I just like the pattens made by these wonderful carriage doors, interrupted by the guard having a chat with a passenger.

Sitting with my feet up now. I’m hoping the leg will become less puce in the coming days.
