Glory!

Another in a series on Coventry Cathedral..not strictly fully Blip conformant, but when was I ever? It's too rich with inspirational content to do otherwise.

The symbolism of the Baptistry Window at Coventry Cathedral (above) was described by designer John Piper as "It's just a burst of glory!"  Another example of it's ethos reflecting the crux and emotion warmth of Christianity as opposed to it's doctrine.

I love the Star Wars like scale of this image; the extras have more clarity.

It's style is repeated around the cathedral (with differring pane designs) , sometimes as a single isolated column

The second extra shows the "Boulder from Bethlehem" shipped and carved for the baptismal font.

Divine Insurgency
Having not been able to arrange any F2F meeting with the patriach, I today turned the heat up quite bluntly via email which of course adds to everyone's negativity in the short term unfortunately, but many council members have been quietly so unhappy and angry for so long I feel that the time for change is long overdue, to stop the further decline and negativity around our church. I primarily wished to prevent any chance of a hasty backdoor expenditure decision being made, without voicing my opinion.
