THE TIDE'S OUT

Drove over to Morecambe this morning, via tha A590, A591 and the M6.  Roads weren't too busy at all so we arrived at Mum's quite quickly.

She's coping really well in the heat but even so the 10 minute walk to her local co-op and back is a bit much for her at the moment, but otherwise she is good.  I think the lack of being able to get out and about much due to covid hasn't helped but she is very stoic.

My younges brrother and his partner popped in as well, so it was lovely to see them both for a chat.

We decide to come home via the top end of Morecambe Prom, through Hest Bank, onto the A6 and the A590.  That part of Morecambe prom was busy but not too bad. only a few spaces to park though but still not bad for the first hot Sunday of school holidays.

On coming back through Grange, it was very quiet, although the two cafes down by The Hazlemere were busy, it was so lovely to see so many people sitting outside enjoying beverages, afternoon teas and ice creams - after the last 18 months it is good to see that.

That's all for today - it is far too for me, so I'm now to sit and relax and try to cool down.

Do take care and stay safe.  See you all tomorrow.
