Amelia's new spot

I started putting together a bookshelf Jill bought more than a month ago. It had just been sitting in the box that whole time because I didn't feel like putting it together.

I should have kept it in the box. There are two braces that go in an "X" across the back. I could get three of the screws in, but the fourth one is proving troublesome. I simply cannot get the screw and nut to thread. It's like the metal is too thick, the screw is too short, or the nut's thread is too deep. By like 1.5mm. It's not much, but it's just enough that I can't lock it in place.

I'm going to Lowe's tomorrow to try to find a longer screw. One more day of work before we go to Michigan. I dread seeing her mother. She's always so angry.
