Tuesday evening

The concerts in Mariannes garden are usually on Sundays but sometimes the artist has to decide because of other engagements. We were visited by a duo today, Olle Linder and Caroline Schroeder. Olle is a professional musician, songwriter/arranger who plays guitar, percussion instruments, sings and, as many professionals do, play together with a lot of other bands besides his own material to make a living. Caroline is an extremely gifted singer with a background in Latin America who also has a "normal" job as a music therapist. It's the first time I heard them together and I was very inspired by their performance. All was Olles original work, lyrics in Swedish and his own compositions.

Afterwards, the two artists, Marianne and me and a good friend of theirs sat around for a couple of hours sharing some glasses of wine, some cheese and home made bread. A most memorable evening after a semigood rehearsal this morning. Life is good -in general.
