Timber!

Yesterday’s storm didn’t clear the air at all, hot and humid again fortunately without the threat of a repeat performance of atmospheric fireworks and waterworks.

This tree is freshly fallen. We walked past this site on Monday where I took the extra. Today it lies was torn and shattered on the ground. I’m not sure if it came down in or as a result of the storm. All I know is that is the tree stands in an area where there are usually many people picnicking or sitting in the shade of a tree….
