Swanbister Pier

A morning spent sanding down the inside of the bothy.  Filled the sheeps’ bath with water, they shunned the Radox last time.  Talked with the Heritage Officer of the Hoy Kirk (who does such a great job) and talked to my niece in Glasgow.  For good behaviour we were awarded a patch of blue sky at 4.00pm.  I ran amok at Swanbister.  It’s day like this that you are all unlucky I remembered to put a film in my camera.  Put a sock in it. But not a wind sock.

Whilst in situ the owner of the boat turned up to chat about worldwide oil prices and stoats.

At home, my David Abulafia awaits……….
