Here comes the Sun ……. Again

At the end of a hot, sunny week a sunflower seems appropriate.

This 8 foot tall specimen was grown from seed. Early this morning the flower head looked very bright against the clear blue sky. This late afternoon it has clouded over and is cooling comfortably. We might be able to enjoy our meal in the conservatory.
