An ordinary life....

Nature's love hearts...

Backblipped 23.07.21

David was up and out very early to walk Lola before it got too warm.

Tesco delivery arrived and I was surprised and delighted that the order was complete well apart from three items I thought I'd ordered but hadn't.  Just thought about it!.  Over the last couple of weeks a there's been a few substitutions or items not available, but all present this week, which is a relief as Blip pal Peter (Sleepyhead) is coming for the weekend on Saturday and I have carefully planned my menus :-)

David headed off to meet up with Kenny and Alan for lunch and a round of golf at the Royal Burgess in Edinburgh.  Ele and I were supposed to be having lunch with Gail with the guys returning to Alan and Gail's in the evening for dinner, but that plan had to be abandoned as Gail had to dash to London to view a flat for her son as he couldn't get time off from work (he's in Edinburgh at the moment but starts a new job in London in a few weeks so it's a mad dash to get everything sorted)

Alan headed off to Glasgow with Christine and I spent a lovely afternoon messing about with acrylic ink on yupo paper.  I really enjoyed it and would love to mess about on a larger scale, but being ink, it's very messy (and permanent!) so that will have to wait until the garage is converted.

David returned happy with his day's golf.  Alan returned very happy because he'd bumped into a friend in Glasgow.

Dinner and a wander round the garden deadheading and checking if the tubs needed water.  Surprisingly despite today's heat, they didn't.
