About To Fly The Nest

While I was sitting up in bed this morning reading the newspaper I saw, indistinctly through the blind, a bird flying back and forth to the front hedge. When Ollie dog and I investigated we found a wood pigeon sitting on its nest. It is probably the one I blipped the other day collecting twigs.  I hope to get pics tomorrow.

The other day I heard cheeping coming from the northerly boiler house and discovered a mossy nest hidden in the ivy on the outside of the eastern wall. This morning I saw the owners, a pair of wrens, delivering tasty insects and spiders to their brood. In my pic on the left three beaks can be seen. It can't be long until these tiny birds fly the nest.
