In the Garden

We had a fairly easy day, but then it is Sunday and if you can't relax on a Sunday when can you? Actually in my case it's most days!

We went into Stratford this morning to meet Tom and had a drink at Box Brownie.   We were going to try the coffee at Plantarium but it was busy, all outside tables taken.  In fact it was quite busy in Stratford, we were surprised the powers that be have reopened High Street to traffic, I'm not sure if it's just a weekend thing.

Anyway I didn't take any pictures in Stratford so this afternoon I had a hunt in the garden for something photogenic.   We've had a hosta plant in a pot for a good while and this is the first year it's decided to flower. The buds appeared on the top of the long upright stalks and remained thus for ages, then about three or four days ago one decided to open up and over the last couple of days more have followed.   We're pleased to have yet more flowers in the garden.
