Breakfast al Fresco

The suspense of waiting for the “disruption due to thunderstorms” event forecast for today is overwhelming and spoiling another hot day of sunshine. I haven’t erected my umbrella because I didn’t think I would need it for long, but time is marching on with no sign of the much vaunted thunder and lightning.

Why would seagulls dive into a cold North Sea to try and grab a luckless fish when they have a ready feast on a warmed pavement once they manage to open a bag of goodies outside a restaurant? Seagulls need not reply to the obvious.
