Just Right

Perfect weather as far as I was concerned today.   Cool in the breeze but plenty of sunshine - enough for Jamie to get badly sunburnt :-/    He and Clara went out on the e-bikes for a tour of some local beauty spots and a picnic in the hills.   A good time was had by all, especially since Clara's lost phone had been located - with the help of a local bus driver!   We'd best draw a veil over how a phone lost near Tywyn Seafront ended up on a bus route to Dolgellau and back but we're very grateful to the driver who spotted the post on Facebook and let us know where it had ended up.   A friend who drives buses for the same company brought the phone to Tywyn on his return from their Machynlleth depot and was amused to tell me that the driver who handed the phone in lives just yards from where the phone was lost in the first place!   A few happy coincidences and a happy justification of our confidence that all would be well thanks to the local community networking :-)

I used the time home alone to get a lot of cyclamen seedlings repotted, a job that was long overdue.   For various reasons it was a long shift at work this evening but with the bonus of a trip up the valley.   I'm having a night away tomorrow, staying with C & I near Shrewsbury and helping them with the Vron Gate Show on Saturday which they are heavily involved in organising.    Is this what returning to normal feels like?

Pelargonium longiflorum, very small flowers in a head a couple of inches across.   It's tuberous, flowering now at the end of it's growing season as the leaves die away.   A little beauty.
