Preparations

There was lots of lovely rain during the night which will do the gardens a power of good.

I went bowling in the park with the gang this morning.  Luckily it had stopped raining but the green was so wet that as the bowls rolled they made water spray up.   We play three games during the morning, drawing numbers to get our partners.  Today F and I got paired for the last game of the morning.  We won 12-0 which we were very pleased by as we were not expecting it.  The wet green must have suited us!

Afterwards I went to F's for a coffee.  The blip is the outside of his kitchen.  He made and fitted the window on the left and the next job is to remove the window on the right together with the wall below and replace them with French windows.

This is the "before" picture.  So far he's removed one of the panes of glass and done some work inside.  These are preparations before the demolition starts.  It's a good job that he knows what he's doing!!
