Tink

A really bleak day and not just the weather! The family have now gone but thankfully we seem so far to have escaped the horrors of Storm Evert that have struck in the south.

Eda asked her mum if they’d brought any dresses, by that she meant dressing up dresses. This one was given to me by my friend and was worn by her daughter in ballet productions many years ago. It’s far too big but with a clip in the back it did the job. Instant Tinkerbell. She did a twirl to show it off and then wanted to have her hair up and watch Tinkerbel as you can see on the right.

Jude is oblivious but very happy. Eda has left the dress here as she does with all the toys, Syllvanian windmill just out of sight to the left and the play mobile campervan, plus lots of others including a tree house, dolls house and farm, not forgetting Frank the pull along yapping dog! Part of the joy of visiting is re discovering all these things each time she comes.

Jude isn’t really aware of any of them yet but she certainly wanted to try and grab anything in her sphere, so near to crawling, I’m sure next time she will be unstoppable and we’ll have to be a bit more circumspect about what’s put out.

After they had gone we went down to Saltaire for something spotted yesterday in the Saltaire Vintage shop. A birthday surprise for September.

Not long till I see them again as I shall be visiting Bath next month, can’t wait once I’ve had a few extended sleeps!

Happy Friday everyone hope the storm doesn’t affect you if you’re in the UK.
