Purple Loosestrife

More loosestrife, grasses and valerian by the pond, and backlit through next door's fence, by the late afternoon sun. Yes a watery sun did make an appearance and it is mild. I had a lazy day, in limbo really, a bit of reading and an unexpected visit from L bearing carrot cake to share, which was very enjoyable with a cuppa and a chat.......
August tomorrow!
And I received the birthday card at lunchtime from my son in Australia, posted on 17th May !!
