AOG DAY 9

This what a 200 year old pendulum looks like. At 4 pm we had a phone call from a guy to say he had broken the spring mechanism of the St. John’s church clock. Alan went off to see the damage and having poured over his catalogues seems to have found a replacement spring. Phew.
The weather was much better today with no wind but plenty of heavy rain showers . Despite this the games went ahead . Plenty of our feathered friend out practising in the heats and tonight was the race. It was very exciting as they flew round and round the track. As it began to come over stormy the race was over with  Gage winning the gold for the red necked parakeets .
