Bob is off on a recce for a club walk on the Isle of Bute today.  He had to be on his way early to meet the others, and as we have not been used to early starts for a while, and at least since the pandemic started, we set two alarms to be sure he got up in time.  Result!

I had arranged to meet a friend today and we had a couple of hours of chat and laughter in the afternoon.

Our neighbours are feeling the effects of Covid and are taking it easy, Lucy in particular is not well.  Hopefully it won't get worse.

We had some nice gentle rain in the morning, but the afternoon was sunny and quite warm. I love to see herons at the loch, and was delighted to manage to photograph this one complete with a reflection today.
