Life through the lens...

Tiny stars.

Our Jasmine Officinale ( Common Jasmine) is covered in these tiny white starry flowers.
Growing on the fence by the gate it smells beautiful, especially in the evening.

A lovely warm sunny day.
We went for a morning walk to the pond.
Looking a bit muddy at the moment due to lack of rain.
The moorhens have some more tiny young ones. Must be their second brood, or may be third.
Only two mallards.
The vegetation and flowers have certainly grown.
Many of the flowers attracting bees and insects, but didn’t see any butterflies.
However there were quite a lot of dragonflies darting across the water. No chance of any photos.
I was rather critical of the planting a couple of years ago, but it seems to have blended in well, and although not all wild flowers they have chosen ones which attract insects.
