Herbie On The Podium

Representing Team Heron, Captain Herbie took to the podium to accept the Gold Medal on behalf of the team.  It was a glorious day for the team, although grueling.  The Aerial Gliding event was intense and the Lurking In The Weeds event took some serious concentration.  Fortunately, in compliance with the new AOG rules, no frogs were disturbed in the event. Team Frog hasn't recovered from the previous violation and loss of a team member so they've decided to suspend competition, possibly for the remainder of the games.  

Gloria and her Team Canada Goose took a well-deserved rest and spent most of the day basking in the sun, watching the Olympic colors being raised in preparation for the Closing Ceremonies.   See Extra

Team Beaver is finishing its dam-building competition under cover of darkness for the most part.  Rumor has it that they're not at all happy with the coverage of their event so are making it impossible for the reporter/photographer to see what they're doing.  It's sort of a little beaver hissy-fit which the officials are ignoring.
