Softbox Selfie

It's rather inclement out there, and so I spent the morning playing with light. 

I've no skills here, and perhaps it's about time I pretended to gain some. I set up a wireless soft-box and played randomly, using the iPhone to control the camera. This is probably the least worst shot of dozens.

It's SmileyCharlie's birthday today, and I'm very sad we can't be with her in Portugal. Not least because she's off to the beach for volleyball fun, and we're watching an approaching thunderstorm! 

Hopefully the storm will pass by and the weather will improve here next week in time for other celebrations.
