Magic.

Theatres are curious places, magician's trick-boxes where the golden memories of dramatic triumphs linger like nostalgic ghosts, and where the unexplainable, the fantastic, the tragic, the comic and the absurd are routine occurrences on and off the stage. Murders, mayhem, political intrigue, lucrative business, secret assignations, and of course, dinner.

-- E. A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly

Today I had organised for a group of S3 pupils to come and participate in a 2.5 hour Technical Theatre Workshop, where they got to learn the skills, tricks and know-how of the Lighting, Sound and Stage Management departments.

This blip shows the incredible set from our current production, Time and the Conways, with the pupils busily working away in their teams.

Brilliant!
