My “weekend” is almost over. Back to work tomorrow.

Friday has been a rather routine and predictable day, and an anticlimax after the joy of being away. Yes, the usual stuff… farm shop first thing, and then a variety of minor chores at home. The weather dictated that they be indoor chores. 

I took the opportunity of a break in the rain to enjoy a coffee outside at the farm shop. It was still a pleasant temperature for sitting outside. 

The other highlight was making pink soup. Cold pink soup. Boiling, peeling and julienne-ing the beetroot can be a challenge, but it is worth it.
