Had something else lined up for today ..... until I saw these shenanigans going on in the garden!

This little hussy was doing her best to entice a mate!

Sheila White thought her luck was in when this handsome fellow arrived .... unfortunately she was destined for disappointment ..... he couldn't seem to work out what to do! In fact he seemed to be totally bemused!

You could almost hear her cries of frustration as he repeatedly failed!

Don't think I've ever seen this before .... normally the males seem to instinctively know what to do .... but this male had no idea whatsoever! Hope she found a better mate!

Thought this silly male would be just right for Silly Saturday .... in memory of Admirer .... thanks to deanna_pearce for hosting this month :-)

A treat this afternoon ..... 'Thumper' the Avro Lancaster bomber from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flew over ...... love seeing it :-))

NB I should have pointed out this was a silly story for Silly Saturday ..... what is actually happening is the opposite in that the female is repelling this male having already mated! It just didn't sound as funny!
