Ardfern

On our way home from Fort William now. We've stopped in Ardfern to visit friends. A quick ramble to the top of Meall Reamhar , the hill above their home to take in the view and  a swim in their local Loch na Beiste (extra) . I remember the first time we swam in this loch, many years ago when our sons were small. One of our friends took them in skinny dipping which small boys thought enormous fun and he came out with a leech attached to his leg- even more fun for the boys. Anyway, despite the loch name meaning Lake of the Beast, we found no leeches today
