Chapel Island

We signed up for a guided walk across the treacherous Morecambe Bay  sands today so that R and I could find the geocache on Chapel Island. I couldn't believe how many other people had signed up for the walk; you can see the long line of walkers stretching back into the distance.  There were just 2 other geocachers out of about 200 walkers. We were rewarded with egrets who must have been put out by all these people descending onto their sanctuary for lunch. Posing young egret attached.
