Moving Day

We were up early to walk Xena and left home by 8am to go to Cambridge to help Adam and Pip move house today. Adam was living south of Cambridge and is moving north of Cambridge with Pip into a lovely new flat. They had already spent some time moving stuff across and painting the new home. Gavin helped with DIY and I provided lunch, it was a very long day but much was achieved. Xena had to come with us and she was so well behaved, I took along this little dog bed (that she does not use as it is too small) and she settled into it and felt quite at home there! There was no time for photos so this is it!

Adam and Pip have done some wonderful paint features, I love the peacock coloured wall in their sitting room which can be seen here, and  they have a fun study (seen in extras) which will certainly be more exciting than the usual boring backgrounds one sees in zoom meetings!

We got home late, so I am quickly loading this and I am now off to bed now.

Today marks the end of the Olympic Games and team GB did exceptionally well coming 4th and securing 65 medals which is the same haul that they achieved in 2012 when we hosted the games.
