Flower Friday

I blipped a couple of my hellebores this morning before helping Bob cut back another hedge. It was going to be completely taken out but we realised the metal fence would be very hot without some shade, so for now it has had a very severe haircut. While we were doing that job our neighbours called out and asked if we wanted an outdoor table and chairs. We don’t really need it but took it and four nice chairs. I took them some daphne. Good swap. Daphne smells fabulous but is not very good to blip.

We loaded up the box trailer and took it all to the refuse centre 200kg worth. We get some vouchers from the council to take a limited amount of waste each year so that didn’t cost anything.

We have a maximum security jail here in town and there is an inmate with Covid. I’m not sure if that is classified as community acquired or not. I’m sure it will go on the figures as such because it isn’t overseas acquired. Another inmate was here for a short time before bail last Monday and he started the lockdowns in the northwest after being released. We haven’t really had any community cases here in our town except 9 last year which came predominantly from returning cruise ships. So far we have been VERY lucky. 390 cases in NSW

So that’s it for another Friday the Thirteenth. Hope you had a good one.

Thanks for the good wishes for our friend. I haven’t heard an update yet today so “no news is hopefully good news”.
