When we moved into our little apartment block just over two years ago, hubby couldn’t wait to get stuck into the garden.  He’s found it extremely frustrating at times, as the soil has been neglected for years and was completely dead - not a single worm.  However, he has persevered, ripped out lots of plants that weren’t providing flowers or colour, put heaps of compost and worm wee on the garden and planted lots of new and varied plants.  Slowly, but surely, his hard work is paying off.  There are now worms in the soil, plants are beginning to flower and daffodils are beginning to poke their golden heads up through the soil. It’s all very satisfying.  This lovely plant is definitely one of those bringing some colour to what was a very bland “garden”.
