Amaranthus

My son gave me this lovely Amaranthus about a month or more ago.  It's growing really well!!   My son grew quite a few of these and I was happy to take one home.  Not sure where the seeds are in these.  
  Not as hot today as it was yesterday.  Not sure if the haze from the smoke is helping keep the heat down or not.   did a little gardening this morning and the roses are thanking me for a bit of pruning!!
