Friends met-up

Any weeks ago, we had planned to have a gathering - our friend, her children, us and our children. Our children grew up together, although attended different schools, remained friends but since leaving school, university etc have not seen each other. Worked out haven’t potentially met since a holiday we went to in 2005. :)

Time has moved on and the two girls have children of their own. The sad and sudden passing of my friends children’s father back in June kicked this meeting into action. :)

Over a buffet lunch, little ones playing, the adult children chatted away for hours. So lovely to revive their friendships. Added to that, our own friendship - we don’t live too far away but time and work have got in the way. Looking forward to future catch ups :)
