Wolvesey Castle

I decided today to blip Wolvesey Castle for RockArea's 'history' themed widwed challenge.  The problem with the castle, though, is that there's not a lot of it left - great history, not much in the way of remains!  It was the 12th century palace of Bishop Henry of Blois, brother to King Steven and it's last great state occasion was Queen Mary and Philip of Spain's wedding banquet in the East Hall in 1554.

So of course this is a double exposure of the East Hall remains and the information board that goes with it.

Not much else to tell you - walked Hazel, bought peaches, whipped though a sudoku, emptied the kitchen bin.  The excitement is almost overwhelming  ;))
