Runner Beans

This is our crop of runner beans in the garden! Fortunately one of our neighbours has a glut on their allotment and has been supplying us with copious quantities of beans - green, black and yellow varieties, all very tasty :-)

I snapped these this morning - a bit of an emergency blip as we have spent the rest of the day travelling to see Mrs madwill’s mum in Bedford. Lots of traffic on the A1 and the journey was slow.  

A tedious journey for me _ I don’t do passenger….as a former driving instructor and IAM observer I find it difficult to keep my hands, feet and mouth still!

Staying a couple of nights at Mrs madwill’s sister’s house- they have gone on holiday!
