Disco

Today was planned as a family get together with an early evening meal to suit the childrens' schedules. Unfortunately our elder son was 'pinged' by the Protect Scotland app at about 5pm yesterday. He had to book a PCR test first thing this morning and is still waiting for the result. So he and our little grandson had to he counted out. The wee lad's mum is visiting her family this weekend so she wasn't going to be able to be here anyway. Just hope the result comes tomorrow and it's negative. That way they might be able to visit.

Despite the absent friends we managed a party, orchestrated by the six year old and catered by Cameraman. Here's the disco interlude in full swing.

It's been pretty wet but not cold. We sat outside under shelter and enjoyed some fizz, lovely food and a cake made by the girls' mum. The girls got into their pjs here before setting off for home. Once our daughter goes I'm off to bed for an early night after all the excitement.
