Handsome calf

The cows, calves and daddy bull are all out in the field. In fact they can go completely free range round the Abbey. It sounds a bit worrying that a bull can wander about at will but he always behaves placidly. Don't suppose it's been the same bull every year come to think of it. I'm not a big meat eater and I don't particularly like to think about it.

Good news early this morning when my son got a negative result from his PCR test. Now he and his wee boy are here and are going to stay overnight. What a treat for me. After playing in the garden and a trip to the playpark we're all having a quiet interlude. Then more food, a chat to my sister and another early night.

No time for blip today I'm afraid.
