Winter fuel.

Logs ordered this morning. Then got a phone call while we were at Sainsbury’s. ( first time in supermarket) could they deliver lunch time today?
So a quick dash round the supermarket, and home.

After 3 hours, with half and hours lunch break,
and most of it is done.
Not easy loading it into smaller bags and wheeling it down two lots of steps. Just a few bits to bring inside to store by the fire.
The new log store is perfect.

So Mr C is now enjoying a pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord, and I am about to enjoy a cool G&T.
It has been a glorious day. Wall to wall sunshine.
Think tomorrow we will have a more relaxing day.

Nice WhatsApp from our granddaughters. They have arrived in Cornwall. Spent the afternoon on the beach.
Their B&B. Or rather just B. Looks perfect, and the weather is glorious.
I’m sure they are going to have a wonderful time.
