Street art

Blackpool is known for having a range of large street art pieces. We decided to go and investigate what was new today.

Walked just under 10 miles. Sat in a bar on the north pier for an hour or two and people-watched whilst listening to some traditional organ (Wurlitzer) tunes. Looked like there was a Northern Soul event at the Tower Ballroom so this was a good alternative. The Central pier was rammed with people and between the South and Central Pier along the road was very busy so we decided to stay well away.

This evening we discovered the Just-Roll pizza base kit. If you like a thin and crispy, low fat pizza base it’s worth a try.

Last night in the lodge tonight and for a Bank Holiday it’s felt quite calm and relaxed with everyone returning to their lodges or caravans by about 10pm. It’s now silent outside.
