Seeing double

The tiny tortoiseshell in the background looks almost like a reflection of the one I was photographing, but it's not. It's visible through the gap in the concrete barbecue-construction-thingie that was here before we arrived. The butterflies seem to enjoy perching on it as it holds the heat of the sun. 

And today there's been plenty of hot sun! Spent some of the day outdoors gardening and enjoying a walk. Indoors, I've done some spring cleaning (best way to spend late August bank holiday weekend!) - reorganising and tidying drawers, among other things. Also baked an apple and blackberry crumble that went down well with custard.
