Thame Town Hall

I can't remember whether I've blipped Thame Town Hall before or not.  It was built in 1888 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.  Sadly the William & Mary Market House that was on this site was demolished to make way for it.  This building featured on TV in Midsomer Murders as the fictional Causton Town Hall.

It was exceedingly quiet in Thame this morning, when I went to do my weekly shopping, a combination of a Bank Holiday, 14ºC and drizzle.
