nearly autumn

WFH. Pretty busy working on updating my lectures. I did manage to go for a brief walk and found the first earthstar fungus of the year. Autumn is clearly approaching.

Read a good article on how Scientists have failed to communicate the severity of the climate catastrophe that we are facing. Also nearly finished Ian Dunt's book How to be a Liberal which is highly recommended. I am hoping for a happy ending but suspect it will be rather bleak. So much that needs to be done collectively while our communities are being atomised.
