Wound up in Wexford

Not the best of starts ....

...... to our short break in Suffolk.  Sitting in a coffee shop on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich whilst the tyre fitters at Kwik Fit help us spend lots of money.

A couple of days ago, the low pressure warning came on, as I was driving to pick up some medication at the GP surgery.  I stopped off in the local garage and pumped the tyre back up to its correct pressure.

The next day, it seemed ok when we checked it before I went to the farm shop, but subsequently it lost pressure again.  So on Sunday I rang round and was able to book an early appointment on Monday.

They found the culprit, a nail, but sadly also found that, although there was plenty of tread, there were a couple of deep cuts, which meant they couldn't/wouldn't repair the tyre, and had to sell us a new one at great expense.

Fortunately, they lived up to their name, and we were home in a couple of hours.  Then a quick pack up, and we were en route to Suffolk by 1 o'clock.

We have returned to an AirBnb in Boxford where we had a pleasant week just over 2 years ago.  When we drove there that time, our sat nav took us down some minor roads, at one point we passed a lovely bridge.  At the time we didn't stop, or even note where we were, but today I wanted to find it again.  But we didn't

Oh well, maybe we'll find it on our return journey.
