Repotting

Not much of it getting done at the moment.  So many things to organise for Jamie and Ruth.    Today we had visit from someone new who will be involved with supporting Jamie when he moves to the flat.   There were also assorted phone calls and emails regarding Ruth's support and the flat in Birmingham.

Eventually Ruth and I did get out to pick blackberries and managed a good quantity a few miles inland where there has been a bit more rain than along the coast.   A good crop requires enough moisture to swell the fruit and we've been very dry on the coast for much of the summer.   Bramble jelly in the making now :-)

The only pic I took - until a late nigh berry pic - was of the tubers of Tropaeolum azureum, a blue flowered, climbing Nasturtium native to Chile.   These are first year seedlings which might make a few flowers next spring.   The twining shoots are very delicate, you can see that one of these has already begun to grow.
