Camouflaged

I spotted this slightly battered Small Copper resting on the pink colchicum in flower in the garden this morning.  By the time I had the camera it had relocated to sit on a Californian Poppy .... no colour clash here!

Lots more bulbs repotted today when I was at home.  This morning an outing to help Jamie de-camp after a very blowy night.  He did really well coping with the strong winds on his first solo camp.  Then a meeting at Jamie's at lunchtime.   I popped out before tea to pick blackberries, a jam pan full cooked down and juiced after we ate.  Jam tomorrow.
