After Sunset

John and I walked Meg up the lane at Rhydyronen this evening and were treated to a fine light show in the western sky.   

I was late out having dropped Jamie at The Magic Lantern, Katie having invited him out.   Jamie's having a night under canvas on his own, to try out some new camping kit that he hopes to use one day with Clara.   So I was involved in some ferrying and tent erecting this afternoon ... and treated to a tasty pasta meal at the camp site a bit later on - extra pic.  He's at a site on the edge of town, just a few minutes from home.   As I type this approaching midnight a very blustery north-easterly wind is blowing, a direction where local topography leads to powerful gusts when only a gentle breeze is forecast.   Hoping we both have an uninterrupted night's sleep.

The rest of the day was mostly admin for the kids and housework but I was also treated to a cuppa and cake chez C this afternoon after Jamie's tent was pitched.  Nice :-)
