Rowan

My first face-to-face saxophone lesson this morning for more than 18 months. It was great to be in the same room as Piero and made for a very different lesson, especially since we were continuing to work on my tone, intonation and articulation, which is much harder to do using Zoom.
After another chilly, overcast start to the day, the afternoon became bright and sunny so we decided to walk through par of the parkland surrounding Wentworth Castle. It was surprisingly - and very pleasantly warm - and we enjoyed seeing how the woodland area planted a few years ago has grown and developed. The rowan trees were resplendent adorned by bright red and orange berries.
