Garden visitor!

As we were clearing away the breakfast things, we had three visitors in the garden - a mother deer and two young! I took a few shots through the window, then I dared to open the door part way, so I could take a few more. This photo of one of the young was one of the best. It was another dull day, with a chance for showers, so I decided to stay in, and get a start on washing, ironing and packing for our next trip, starting on Thursday, up to Cape Cod in Massachusetts. It is Laura’s graduation for her Masters in International Relations from Northeastern University in Boston on September 10th, so Roger and I decided to go up early and spend a few days on Cape Cod - the last time we were there was 2009! Laura will fly up on the 9th, not wanting to ask for too much time from her new interim job. Since Laura wasn’t working until late afternoon, she and Roger decided to risk the weather and go walking at the Nature Centre.
