These Brutes Are Made For Walking

Walking today, my spirits soared along with the buzzard riding the warming air currents. A planned early morning walk, solo, as Mrs I is of the practical set, believing a nice warm snugly bed is a far better place to be. (pfthaa!)

I am donning my wonderful old BRASHER Air 8s, a bit brutalist but so comfortable and reassuring on the rocky terrain I prefer.

A  marvellous 5 miles in sublime Mid Wales countryside, dozens of great photos but I choose the first and last shots of my 4 hour walk. The extra being a mural on the wall of a building in Llanidloes where my snuggly little lady came to pick me up at 1.30 exactly. Back to our accommodation for coffee, scones and jam.
