Hanging by a thread

I have also backblipped yesterday's An inside view ..... hope you will have a look ..... thanks to those who already have :-)

I was chuffed to see the Humming-bird Hawk-moth back again darting round the Buddleia!

Another chase ensued ...... I did manage to get this one shot that was relatively in focus so it had to be blipped! :-)

The other image is a poor Small Tortoiseshell bundled up by a spider ....... unfortunately it won't be fluttering anywhere but will provide the spider with lunch!

Extra not for the squeamish or those with arachnophobia  ..... it's the spider wrapping up its prey for later! 


Shudder! Not a fan of the eight legged critters myself ... this was taken from a distance!
