Reflected Light

I liked this clump of Marsh Marigolds catching the sunlight, framed by the dark trunk of a fallen tree.

What struck me afterwards looking at the image on the computer was how blue the bark was in the shadows, presumably reflecting the sky above. Same goes for the algae in the shadow, which under sunlight is bright green.

I only wish I could learn to see those colours in real time and make use of them.
