It's Tiny Tuesday!

Today we woke again the blue skies and unexpected warmth.  This morning we had a family outing to IKEA as daughter #2 needed to buy an appropriately sized dining table for her new dining room.  Of course we had to walk through the show rooms and market place first before picking up said table and of course we managed to gather quite a few items en route.  I have never left IKEA without buying something and wonder if it is possible to leave empty handed!
We spent the afternoon in the garden, where i took a few photos with my 'big' camera. I've decided to use this shot of one of many bees busily working one of the hardy geraniums (cranesbill).  We have a number of varieties of this plant in our garden and all seem to thrive.  In fact a few are thuggish and have to be cut back so that they don't swamp other plants.
Many thanks to JDO for hosting TT this month.

In other news:  Boris has announced that from 2023, working pensioners will have to contribute 1.25% of their earnings in National Insurance contributions as part of a new health and social care levy.  Currently  the employer pays NI contributions (13.8 %) on all employees' earnings, including pensioners.  It is hard not to be sceptical about the assertion that the money will actually be used for the long overdue reforms.
